ILIX Micro Drills 6511 is made to conform with DIN 1899 A. Made from the finest mix of HSS and 5% of Cobalt, ILIX Stub Drills 6131 series are intended to produce higher toughness, hardness and strength in minimizing chatters. In addition, this uncoated model is an affordable alternative in holemaking and drilling in ferrous metallic or non-metalllic materials. Depends on your machining set up,  ILIX Micro Drills 2 Flute 120° Tip 6511 DIN 1899 A are recommended  for drilling heat resistant steels, gummy iron, cast steels, manganese steels, bronze, aluminium with high percentage silicium for precision result Optimised with tool tip geometry of 120°, ILIX 6511 provides higher tool stability (even in unstable working conditions) and a higher surface quality of the material to be machined and can withstand the tensile stress up to 1300 N/mm². There are 2 models to choose from, the 6511 as regular positive microdrill the 6513 for negative drilling. Optimized for both high stability and universal usability, it also offers optimum chip breakage, high centering accuracy and less cutting forces. This classic series from ILIX sturdy drill is suitable on toolmaking, jigs, precision hinges, general engineering and many more. However if you are looking for drill with similar geometry spec but with jobber lenght (normal/standard size), you can also order ILIX 6132 Series. ILIX Micro Drills 2 Flute 120° Tip 6511 DIN 1899 A Features: Recommended for precision drilling. Easy to be positioned as the surface diameter of HSS-Co offer a frim grip Tool diameter range: 0,05mm - 1,45mm Suitable for material with tensile strength up to 1300 N/mm2.
