The newly improved DeFelsko PosiTest DFT offer the simplest method to measure coating thickness on all metals with the addition of OLED screen. Regardless of type and process of coating either rubber paint, epoxy, enamel, lacquer or chrome, the pocket sized DeFelsko PosiTest DFT uses the proven industrial standard ultrasonic technology powered by AAA sized battery. Thanks to its compact form factors, the new DFT is lighter by 20 grams compared to the previous model with LCD screen. You can inspect instantly the uniformity of powder paint, coating and value the life of a product. Compared to DeFelsko positector line up, DeFelsko PosiTest DFT comes at a much affordable price. Notably, end-users of this coating thickness device are from small and medium workshop owners, painting contractors, automotive dealer professional and paint-chrome plating shop. To cater each tye of coating material, the DeFelsko PosiTest DFT comes in two models: PosiTest DFT Ferrous: measures non-magnetic coatings on steel PosiTest DFT Combo: measures both non-magnetic coatings on steel AND non-conductive coatings on aluminum, brass, etc. Automatically recognizes the substrate and takes a measurement.
