Moore & Wright Traditional Internal Micrometer G700 / G710 Series is manufactured by Bowers for basic measurement ofinternal diameter which conforms to BS 959:2008 (British Standards Institution 2013). With its classic stick bar design, a swift thread action by its thimble on sensitive anvils, you can carefully interpolate it without removing the tool from the workpiece to perform high precision measurement. You can choose two distinct diameter models to suit your selected range of diameters. Each system of measurement (imperial model and metric model) has been precisely calibrated and certified for your specific units of measurement. Its Vernier scale is clearly marked and etched to withstands scratches and wear. Each model comprises a measuring head, a set of extension rods and a spacing collar to facilitate alternative measuring ranges. However, the smaller models (791E to 796E) have detachable extension handles. This basic series are ideally suited for measuring Fiber reinforced plastic pipes, internal grooves and other hard to reach inside dimensions such as steel chambered pipes, cylindrical barrel and various other workpiece. However be advised that when using a stick micrometer, the instrument should be fully supported to prevent sagging and inaccuracies.
